    Chapter Index

    Three demonstrations.

Enough to learn a Huang level sword technique?

The disciple couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief.

He had started learning this technique back in the Foundation Establishment Stage, and it had taken him three whole years just to barely grasp the basics!

And even that made him one of the better students among his peers.

Now a newcomer, a disciple who had joined only days ago, was claiming she could learn it after three demonstrations?

If she really managed it, then what did his years of bitter struggle amount to?

The disciple let out a cold laugh. “Anyone can boast. If you really learn it, I’ll give you my head.”

    Yun Jin: “???”

She glanced at Ruan Jun, silently worried.

Another one volunteered to lose his head.

If this kept up, where was she supposed to put all these heads?

Yun Jin sighed. “Honestly, with a low-tier technique like this, I could’ve learned it in one viewing. But your mastery is so poor. This technique has five layers, and you’ve barely reached the first, haven’t you? Senior Brother, you’re too weak.”

If someone with a third-level or higher mastery had demonstrated it, she really could’ve picked it up at once.

Now she was being forced to watch it three times.

What a waste of her time.

The disciple was fuming from her disdainful expression and was about to argue when Yun Jin cut him off. “Hurry up! My time is far more valuable than yours.”

Gritting his teeth, the disciple completed two more demonstrations, then glared at her mockingly. “Well? Have you learned it yet?”

Yun Jin said nothing. She simply stepped forward and made a starting move.

To everyone’s surprise, the form was startlingly accurate.

The disciple’s expression shifted ever so slightly.

Could she really have learned it after just three demonstrations?

No, that’s impossible! It must be a hollow imitation, mimicking the form without grasping the essence!

But Yun Jin fluidly executed the technique.

The disciple watched her intently, trying to catch any flaws.

    Yet.

    There were none.

    Not a single misstep.

The sword forms were perfect, and even the circulation of spiritual energy was executed with perfect precision.

When the routine was completed, Yun Jin flicked her sword tip. A stream of sword energy shot toward a nearby tree. The branches quivered violently, and leaves fluttered to the ground.

When the leaves settled, they clearly formed four words:

    “Bring me your head.”

    Bring me your head!

Everyone instinctively looked at the disciple.

He seemed utterly shattered. Clutching his chest, his face flushed a deep red.

He stared at those words, then suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed, fainting from sheer humiliation.

A few disciples rushed forward to check on him. His spiritual energy was in chaos and the meridians were disrupted. They immediately carried him off for emergency treatment.

Yun Jin turned coolly to the remaining four. “You four, do it together. These techniques are so simple, I can learn them all simultaneously.”

The four exchanged uneasy glances, clearly shaken.

What had just happened was still fresh in their minds. None of them had expected Yun Jin’s words to be real. She had truly learned a high-tier Huang level sword technique after only three viewings.

    That kind of terrifying talent…

A phrase surfaced in all their minds:

    Innate Sword Body.

Only someone with the legendary Innate Sword Body could achieve such a feat.

Could this Yun Jin truly be gifted?

Everyone watching felt a growing sense of dread.

Even Ruan Jun’s face was darkening.

Yun Jin had indeed exceeded all his expectations.

But the more she reveals her talent, the more reason there is to eliminate her!.

“Senior Brother…” Ye Danxia tugged lightly at Ruan Jun’s sleeve, her voice timid. “Xiao Jin is really amazing. I don’t think I can compare to her at all.”

She too had realized that Yun Jin’s talent might be terrifying.

If even the senior brother couldn’t help her, what else could she do?

Seeing Ye Danxia look so pitiful, Ruan Jun’s heart trembled slightly. A surge of protectiveness rose within him. “She must’ve used some trick.”

Inwardly, he had already made up his mind. This woman must not be allowed to outshine his little junior sister.

This time, she had to be driven out of Tianxing Sect. Once she was without support, he’d hunt her down in secret and eliminate her completely.

    With that thought,

Ruan Jun sent a voice transmission to the four disciples, “Just agree. When the four of you demonstrate your techniques, deliberately insert one or two mistakes. I want to see how she plans to copy that.”

Right, there was no rule that said they had to perform it accurately.

They couldn’t make it too obvious, but they can display some small, subtle errors.

If Yun Jin saw the wrong moves, how could she possibly recreate the real technique?

How could such a ridiculous thing be possible?

    This time, victory was guaranteed.

With the plan in place, one of the disciples stepped forward. “Since you asked for this, don’t go claiming the four of us are bullying you.”

Yun Jin raised her eyebrows, curious. “If I succeed again, will all of you hand over your heads too?”

    The disciples: “…”

One of them snapped, “Enough nonsense! Watch closely! We’re only demonstrating it three times!”

Afraid she’d say something outrageous again, the four began their sword techniques without another word.

Four techniques started at the same time.

Four streams of sword energy, interweaving and interfering with one another.

Yun Jin, however, remained perfectly calm.

She sat down cross-legged at a leisurely pace, and took out another bag of sunflower seeds.

It is worth noting that these were spirit-grade sunflower seeds given to her by Eldest Senior Brother. They had better flavor and even contained a trace of spiritual energy.

Yun Jin was quite fond of them.

She then placed a teapot before her and slowly poured herself some tea.

The seeds were too dry, she needed the tea to moisten her throat.

Surely everyone could understand that, right?

    Over there,

    Sword lights flashed and clashed.

    Here,

    Crunch, crunch.

At first, the crowd focused on the disciples’ swordsmanship, but soon, all eyes shifted towards Yun Jin.

Rumor had it that during her entrance exam, she’d sat there snacking on sunflower seeds.

    Now she’s doing it again?

Were those seeds really that good?

Yue Zhao and Si Wanning quietly lowered their heads.

They were both defeated by Yun Jin before, and by now, they should’ve been used to it.

Yet at this moment, they still desperately wished they didn’t know her.

The four disciples finished their first demonstration, panting from exertion, only to see Yun Jin had already finished cracking a pile of seed shells.

    Their expressions darkened.

    Yun Jin raised her brow.

The system had completed its scan.

“Four high-tier Xuan level sword techniques detected. Nine total errors identified. Would you like to correct them?”

    Nine errors.

Yun Jin set down her seeds, wearing a meaningful expression.

    “Correct them,” she said silently.

“Three simplification tokens consumed. All errors corrected.”

A moment later, the system listed out each of the nine errors in detail.

“Senior Brothers, are you sure you’ve truly mastered these sword techniques?” Yun Jin spoke calmly, “For such simple techniques, the four of you combined made nine errors. If I were you, I’d give up sword training altogether out of sheer embarrassment.”

Her tone was full of disdain.

    The disciples’ expressions shifted instantly.

They made the mistakes discreetly, but Yun Jin had spotted them at a glance. She even gave the exact number! Although they didn’t know if she was bluffing, her confident expression made them extremely uneasy.

I’m afraid this woman is some kind of monster!

Shocking as it was, there was no way they could admit it.

One of them forcefully retorted, “That’s nonsense! There were no errors in our sword demonstration. You’re just slandering us because you couldn’t learn it!”

Yun Jin smiled. “Oh? Then it seems your abilities truly are lacking if you can’t even properly demonstrate a Huang level sword technique.”

Before they could respond, Yun Jin calmly pointed to the disciple on the far left. “You, at the tenth breath, why did your spiritual energy suddenly stall? At the fiftieth breath, are you sure that sword move is supposed to go that way?”

    The disciple was stunned.

He had only inserted two subtle errors.

Yet Yun Jin managed to notice both from the first demonstration, and called them out in front of everyone?

He instinctively looked toward Ruan Jun.
