Ye Danxia was momentarily at a loss for words.

Yun Jin enthusiastically slipped the grass ring onto her finger. “Junior Sister Ye, since you’re so grateful to the Yun family, you must take good care of this ring. Don’t lose it, or I’ll have to question your intentions for coming here today.”

Ye Danxia’s expression darkened further. She needed to maintain her image as a kind and generous person. If she tried to forcefully take Yun Jin’s ring, it would undoubtedly damage her reputation.

Still, she had to get that ring.

But not at the expense of her facade.

Ye Danxia glanced pitifully at the senior brothers who came with her.

The moment she looked at them, the group immediately became riled up.

“You’re Yun Jin, right?” The strongest of them stepped forward arrogantly. “My little junior sister wants your ring. Be smart and hand it over. If you try anything clever, you’ll regret it!”
