The Princess’s Inner Thoughts were Overheard by Her Emperor Father

This is a relatively shorter novel under a very niche mind-reading trope. It focuses on both the FL and the emperor. The FL doesn’t really do much throughout the story other than having her thoughts read by the emperor as she is a literal newborn child. If you’re looking for a MC that takes matters into their own hands, then you should find something else. 

The FL’s relationship with her family is very cute and heartwarming. The emperor’s interactions with the ministers are funny. Outside of fluffy family scenes, there’s also quite a bit of nation-building, which tickles the farming sim games part of my rat brain. 

I do feel like the story could be longer to better wrap up the secondary storylines. 234 chapters isn’t enough to fulfill my need for such a niche trope.

Of course, there is no romance since the FL stays as a literal baby throughout the whole novel.
